CHI Health Clinic invites applications for a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care that supports patients’ well-being and recovery. Qualifications

• Graduate of ABHES- or CAAHEP-accredited medical assisting program.
• Successful completion of Medication Aide 40-hour course.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care following clinic workflows.
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing allergies and medications, screening, and documenting reason for visit.
• Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Performs other duties within scope of the role as assigned.

Required

Job Requirements

• Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)


• Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid


• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Pay Range

$18.06 - $25.51 /hour
