Job summary

IU Health is seeking a Clinic Manager for Urgent Care, onsite Monday–Friday day shift with rounded evenings and weekends and on-call rotation at the downtown Indianapolis location. The role reports to the Executive Director, Retail Health Services, with 6–7 direct reports.

Responsibilities include planning and directing operations, supervising patient services, and managing financials and facilities to achieve service excellence. Prior healthcare leadership experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required.
• 4–6 years of relevant leadership experience in healthcare is required.
• Knowledge of business applications (e.g., MS Office, healthcare software).
• Strong customer service skills with a patient-focused approach.
• Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely results.

Responsibilities

Overview

Clinic Manager- Urgent Care

Assists the Senior Leader in planning, directing and overall operations within their areas of responsibility. Manages the ongoing development, implementation and performance outcomes to improve efficiency of responsible service lines. Oversees the day to day supervision in assigned patient services areas, financial management and facility adequacy of their assigned areas. Maintains optimal communication and collaboration between practice staff, physicians, administration, external customers and appropriate health system staff to ensure service delivery that exceeds the needs and expectations of customer bases towards service excellence.

This is a fully onsite role Monday-Friday day shift with availability to round to evenings and weekends, as well as on-call rotation at our W Michigan St Urgent Care in downtown Indianapolis. Previous healthcare leadership experience is required.

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred.


• Requires 4-6 years of relevant experience.
