The role requires a BSN (or MSN if no BSN), Indiana RN license or NLC, and BLS certification, with preference for an MSN and healthcare leadership experience. This is a fully onsite, Monday–Friday daytime leadership position.

Qualifications

  • Requires Bachelor of Nursing (BSN).
  • If bachelor degree not in nursing, must have Master of Nursing (MSN).
  • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
  • Requires an active RN license in Indiana or a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license.
  • Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead an inter-professional team to achieve excellence in patient and organizational outcomes.
  • Translate and achieve strategic priorities for quality, safety, affordability, and patient experience.
  • Provide strategic vision and operational planning for the assigned unit.
  • Support the Fishers Primary Care site with onsite leadership and day-shift operations.
  • Promote evidence-based nursing practices and professional nursing standards.

Clinical Ambulatory Manager- Primary Care

The clinical manager combines clinical experience and contemporary leadership practices with the IU Health Way to achieve excellent outcomes. Accountable for translating and achieving our strategic priorities and outcomes: quality and safety improvements, care affordability, great patient experiences, and great team member experiences. Accountable for providing strategic vision and operational planning for assigned unit. Incumbents will lead an inter-professional team to create an environment where the team is empowered to achieve excellence in patient and organizational outcomes. This role is accountable for advancing nursing practice by advocating and consistently embedding evidenced-base practices and professional nursing standards.

Join our Fishers Primary Care team in this fully onsite, Monday through Friday day-shift role. You will support a dynamic, multidisciplinary practice comprised of physicians, APPs, a PharmD, and a strong team of clinical and administrative professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

This is a fully onsite role Monday-Friday day shift at our USAK Pkwy location in Fishers. Preference for prior outpatient leadership experience and primary care experience.

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

  • Requires a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN).
  • If bachelor degree not in nursing, must have Master of Nursing (MSN).
  • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
  • Previous healthcare leadership experience preferred.
  • Specialty certification related to nursing practice or leadership is preferred.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Required Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
