Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of basic medical terminology.

• 1 year clerical experience in a medical or customer service setting.
• Previous computer entry experience with ability to learn new applications and work processes.

Aufgaben

• Receives patient into clinic and notifies patient care.
• Appointment Management/Telephone Management
• Resolves front desk issues such as patient complaints and missing forms.
• Verifies patient demographic and insurance information.
• Collects co-pays, prepares patient receipts and A/R deposit entry. Maintains and sends daily log to Business Office.
• Accurately coordinates and schedules future appointments and/or procedures using the practice management system.
• Utilizes directories, paging, and voice mail systems.
• Communicates patient information to business office as needed.
