Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is hiring a Clinic Support Associate to manage front desk operations, assist clinicians, and ensure a welcoming patient experience.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of medical office or customer service experience, and proficiency with Google Suite and EMR systems. The schedule is Mon/Wed 8am-6pm, Tue/Thu 8am-2pm, and Fri 8am-5pm; pay is $17–$20 per hour, depending on experience and geography.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of medical office experience preferred, familiarity in EMR systems a plus.
• One year of customer service experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Suite is required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to new programs.
• Ability to observe, evaluate, and record patients' conditions and changes.

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes patients and visitors with a warm, upbeat attitude and checks in patients.
• Delivers high-level customer service by ensuring patient satisfaction and efficient scheduling.
• Manages scheduling operations to maximize provider availability and room usage.
• Maintains on-time patient flow by notifying clinicians of arrivals and delays.
• Receives and processes incoming faxes and documents promptly.
• Performs accurate data entry into the EMR, including patient information and treatment plans.
• Generates reports and lists, including patient retention tracking.
• Ensures co-pays are tallied and credit is managed.
• Sets up new and returning patients in Theraoffice and verifies demographics.
• Answers calls from physicians, hospitals, and patients with professional service.
