Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of medical office experience preferred; EMR familiarity a plus.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Suite is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to interact professionally with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors warmly and checks them in efficiently.
• Ensures patient satisfaction and optimizes provider time through accurate scheduling.
• Manages scheduling to maximize provider availability and room usage.
• Notifies clinicians of arrivals and monitors service delivery against the schedule.
• Receives and processes incoming faxes for timely communication.
• Performs data entry into the EMR system and updates patient records.
• Generates reports and maintains accurate logs, including patient retention tracking.
• Tallies co-pays and manages payments; handles patient billing with care.
• Sets up new and returning patient cases in Theraoffice with demographic and insurance info.
• Contacts physicians to obtain updated prescriptions and plans of care.
• Assists patients during therapy and educates on equipment use and exercises.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA and clinic policies.
• Keeps the clinic clean, organized, and compliant with procedures.
