Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of medical office experience preferred, EMR familiarity a plus.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Suite required.
• Strong communication and professional interaction with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors; answer inquiries and check in patients.
• Provide high level customer service; optimize provider time and treatment room usage.
• Manage scheduling; maximize provider availability and room usage.
• Notify clinicians of patient arrivals and monitor flow; flag delays.
• Process incoming faxes and ensure timely communication.
• Enter patient data into EMR accurately; update treatment plans.
• Generate reports and keep logs with accuracy; assist with financial reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate co-pays; manage patient billing and credit extensions.
• Set up new and returning patient cases in Theraoffice; verify demographics and insurance.
• Contact physicians for updated prescriptions and Plans of Care; update system.
