Job summary

ZoomCare seeks a Clinic Associate to deliver the Perfect Visit experience across service lines such as Daily Care, Family Medicine, Mental Health, and more. Responsibilities include checking in patients, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and educating patients on their medical records.

Position requires 1+ year in healthcare or customer service. Training includes 2-3 weeks across multiple clinics, with some remote components and travel between clinics in the area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s preferred.
• 1+ year of healthcare, customer service, or administrative experience.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, AthenaOne, and other relevant software.
• Excel in a fast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and time constraints.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire.
• Ability to complete ZoomCare’s phlebotomy training program within six months of hire.
• WA: Must be able to obtain a Medical Assistant- Phlebotomist license within 6 months of hire.
• OR: Current phlebotomy license; equivalent licensure or training experience, preferred.
• Vaccinated against COVID-19, Hepatitis B., MMR, PPD, Varicella, and TD/TDAP.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out for appointments.
• Schedule new appointments as needed.
• Process patient payments.
• Educate patients on navigating ZoomCare’s medical record.
• Maintain patient demographics and insurance information.
• Perform blood draws and finger sticks following lab standards.
• Process specimens and document results.
• Maintain supply inventory and store supplies.
• Work with basic medical equipment.
• Provide emergency care to patients when necessary.
• Support medical providers as needed.
• Keep the clinic clean and neat.
• Other duties as assigned.
