Responsibilities

• Maintain phone coverage 7:30 am–6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Schedule clinic appointments, consultations and follow-ups using EMR and scheduling tool.
• Collect demographic, insurance and medical information.
• Use scheduling tools and referral systems to arrange appointments.
• Confirm insurance eligibility when scheduling.
• Process referrals and import documents into patients' charts.
• Make outbound calls and resolve requests promptly.
• Back up by answering and resolving incoming calls as needed.
• Communicate patient concerns to supervisor or leads.
• Triage and relay messages to appropriate staff.
• Participate in daily operations with pre-registration team.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of health records and member information.
• Meet HIPAA guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
