You will coordinate referrals, verify eligibility, and support the pre-registration team to ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the healthcare field; call center experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong customer service orientation; data entry skills required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance plans.

Responsibilities

• Schedule clinic appointments including consultations and follow-ups using EMR and scheduling tool.
• Collect demographic, insurance, and medical information.
• Use scheduling tools and referrals to arrange patient appointments.
• Verify insurance eligibility at the time of scheduling.
• Process referrals and import documents into patient charts.
• Answer and resolve incoming calls promptly; escalate as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
