Job summary

Healthcare Outcomes Performance Co. (HOPCo) seeks a scheduling professional to arrange PT/OT appointments within our practice management system. You will gather data from carriers, physicians, and charts to ensure proper provider matching and timely scheduling.

You will contact patients to schedule and follow up on referrals, respond to questions, and maintain high satisfaction levels while updating EMR with accurate notes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years PT/OT scheduling experience or related experience.
• Strong communication with physicians, patients, and the public.
• Capable of establishing good working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Able to enter and maintain data accurately in practice management and EMR.

Responsibilities

• Schedule PT/OT for patients within the practice management program based on insurance, patient preference, physician preference, and location.
• Gathers information from insurance carriers, physicians, and patient charts to match to contracted service providers.
• Call patients to schedule PT/OT within required time as designated by policies and procedures.
• Provide ongoing follow-up until successful execution of referral.
• Respond to patient questions and complaints, resolving problems to maintain high patient satisfaction.
