Job summary

Mosaic Life Care is seeking an Access Representative to support patient care delivery by managing appointments, data entry, and front-desk responsibilities across clinics in the northwest Missouri region.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred associate degree or business certificate. You will handle patient information with confidentiality and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED or HiSET equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree or business college certificate preferred.
• Experience with computer data entry, patient data handling, and medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, reschedules, and cancels patient appointments with physicians, nurse practitioners, and receptionist staff.
• Enters patient data into computer systems accurately and completely, including registration, medical record assignment, and visit creation.
• Communicates with patients regarding appointments, forms, and documentation.
• Prepares release of information and consent forms for patient signature; coordinates with other providers for additional information.
• Answers phones and acts as receptionist for patients, visitors, providers, and staff.
• Relays information between providers, nursing staff, patients, and families as a liaison.
• Requests information from other departments for orders marked STAT or NOW and coordinates scheduling with ancillary departments.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient and staff information.
• Attends departmental meetings and in-services.
• Manages payments, balances receipts, deposits, and daily reconciliations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
