Bowman Williams is seeking a Client Technology Advisor in the Baltimore/Washington, DC market for a hybrid role. You will own the technical knowledge and documentation for about 15 MSP clients, perform discovery, assess environments, and help shape their technology roadmap with the vCIO and engineering teams.
This role is designed for someone who has grown through MSP ranks and wants to move toward a consultative, client-facing position while staying technically hands-on.
Work Setup: Hybrid — 3 days onsite/client sites, 2 days WFH after the first 90 days
Salary: $80K–$95K + bi-annual performance bonus + annual profit sharing
For this opportunity, you’ll be joining a well-established Managed Service Provider supporting small and mid-sized businesses throughout the Baltimore/Washington, DC market. This is a highly collaborative, standards-driven MSP with a strong focus on employee development, technical growth, and promoting from within.
The Client Technology Advisor position is designed for someone who has grown through the MSP ranks, ideally Tier 2/Tier 3, Systems Administrator, Escalations Engineer, or Junior Project Engineer and is ready to move toward a more consultative role while remaining technical.
This is not a traditional help desk position or Account Manager role. You’ll become the technical SME for a dedicated group of clients, learning their environments inside and out, identifying technical gaps, improving documentation and standards, and helping shape their technology roadmap alongside the vCIO and engineering teams.

Prior experience as a TAM, Junior vCIO, Project Engineer, Escalation Engineer, or consultative Systems Administrator is a plus, but not required.
