Location: Orange County or Los Angeles, CA
Work Model: Local WFH with limited onsite work (must live in Southern California)
Salary: $85,000 to $95,000
MSP Experience: Required
Why This Role Is Worth a Look
We are a long established Managed Services Provider hiring a Cloud Systems Administrator to support advanced escalations, Microsoft cloud environments, Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, Microsoft 365, networking, and security tools across Southern California client environments.
This is a strong fit for an MSP professional who wants a local WFH role, strong work life balance, and deeper cloud infrastructure exposure without the constant billable pressure found in many MSP environments.
You will own complex escalations, support AVD and Microsoft cloud environments, mentor Level 1 and Level 2 technicians, and help improve documentation so fewer issues need to be escalated in the future.
What Makes This Role Different
The team has built long term relationships with both clients and employees, with many employees having 10 to 20 year tenure.
The environment values integrity, accountability, teamwork, client satisfaction, innovation, mutual respect, and family time. Productivity matters, but this is not a constant bill, bill, bill MSP environment.
This role is ideal for someone who can assess issues quickly, stabilize the environment, drive resolution with minimal direction, and improve standards for the team.
What You Will Work On
- Own advanced escalations across Microsoft 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, security, and end user environments

- Work across Azure, VMware vSphere, SonicWall, HPE servers, Nimble SAN, MSA storage, backups, and endpoint security tools
- Support security and infrastructure platforms such as SentinelOne, Huntress, Acronis, or similar tools
- Use ConnectWise Manage, NinjaRMM, IT Glue, and related MSP tools for tickets, monitoring, documentation, and client environment management
- Create and improve runbooks, SOPs, escalation notes, client documentation, and post project records
- Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 technicians on troubleshooting approach, client communication, and documentation quality
- Communicate clearly with nontechnical stakeholders, set expectations, and follow through until issues are resolved
- Support occasional onsite work in Orange County or Los Angeles when needed
What We Are Looking For

- Calm troubleshooting approach with the ability to stabilize issues quickly and work with minimal direction
- Strong documentation habits across tickets, runbooks, SOPs, technical notes, and client updates

- Must be local to Orange County or Los Angeles and comfortable with occasional onsite work
