Job summary

Gallagher in Jericho, NY seeks a Client Manager to ensure delivery of exceptional service to Gallagher's clients by actively managing accounts and guiding client service associates. You will work with our sales team to ensure client satisfaction and will apply your business insight to deepen client relationships.

You will collaborate with senior teammates, prepare RFPs, analyze proposals, and support renewal efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience
• Active Life & Health license
• Able and willing to travel approximately 25% of the time
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Manage increasingly complex accounts with a strong focus on self-funded business while collaborating with senior teammates
• Utilize Gallagher's resources and tools to create effective client deliverables
• Support the employee benefits Client Service Cycle to ensure a seamless renewal process
• Resolve service-related issues independently but know when to raise concerns to more experienced colleagues
• Prepare RFPs, coordinate vendor responses, support negotiations, analyze and present proposals
• Cross-sell with clients to communicate resources available within Gallagher
• Guide and support new hires and account associates
• Complete internal professional development programs to gain an understanding of the insurance industry and Gallagher processes
• Exemplify the highest ethical standards and promote The Gallagher Way
