Job summary

JD Power is seeking a Client Manager, Customer Success to act as a data analyst lead and trusted advisor for one of our clients, leveraging the U.S. Automotive Configuration and Retail Transaction data to generate value and drive retention.

You will work within a team of automotive analysts, share insights with OEMs, and help shape business development through compelling case studies and presentations that showcase the impact of JD Power’s data and services.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in automotive retail sales or reporting roles, consulting, corporate strategy, finance, or analytics.
• Experience working with Automotive OEM quality organizations, manufacturing, or logistics is a plus.
• Significant experience with Excel and PowerPoint is required.
• Experience using BI and Analytics platforms like Palantir, Tableau, PowerBI, or ThoughtSpot is desirable.
• Experience with executive-level presentations and public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Insights: Use BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, ThoughtSpot) and Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
• Client Management: Serve as the customer success analyst for key clients and identify solutions to support sales and business development.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Analyze changes in the U.S. automotive retail industry, focusing on sales volume, pricing, incentives, and residual values.
• Communication and Influence: Lead discussions with OEM users and create case studies and presentations to highlight value.
