Job summary

TASSCO is seeking a Customer Solutions/Project Coordinator in Birmingham, AL to support the sales process by preparing accurate quotes, managing data in Genius ERP, and ensuring smooth order processing. You will collaborate with outside sales teams and internal departments to deliver tailored solutions and drive project execution.

This role emphasizes communication, data analysis, and platform skills (Power BI, Claude AI) to track quotes, monitor progress, and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2+ years in sales, project coordination, or similar role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and drive projects forward.

Responsibilities

• Quoting & order processing: assist in preparing accurate quotes and pricing.
• Sales team support: partner with outside reps to support quoting and order tracking.
• Data & ERP system management: use Genius ERP to manage quotes and track orders.
• Customer communication: provide updates and address inquiries between customers and internal teams.
• Project coordination: support estimating team for large projects and follow up on quotes and orders.
• Process improvement: identify opportunities to streamline quoting, order entry, and workflows.
• Cross-functional collaboration: coordinate with sales, estimating, and production teams.
• Performance tracking: monitor quote turnaround time and win rate to identify trends.
• AI-enabled productivity: use Claude Academy and Claude AI to accelerate quoting research and drafting.
