Job summary

Royal (a MacLean Power Systems Company) in Bessemer, AL is seeking a Customer Account Specialist to handle client inquiries, quotes, terms, and bid specs while driving high-quality service. This onsite role supports sales with ERP-driven processes and strong relationship management in a technical product environment.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of related experience, familiarity with utility industry practices, and proficiency in Excel and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years related experience including experience with technical products.
• Experience in utility industry preferred.
• Expert utilization of Syteline or comparable ERP system required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships based on integrity and service.
• Organized with strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, reps, and other inside sales.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, including proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Answers inquiries from clients concerning products while promoting the company products.
• Provides information, quotes, credit terms, and other bid specifications to clients.
• Periodically prepares and reports sending results and leads to manager.
• Caters to any customer complaints or concerns and establishes a resolution.
• Learns the various buying habits and expectations of the customers to provide exceptional customer service.
• Conducts regular follow ups on the quote status.
• Works with the V.P. of Sales on the administrative aspects of sales.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
