Job summary

MG Automation & Controls is seeking an Associate to join our Customer Service team in Birmingham, AL. You will support order entry, expediting, warehouse and general service functions, ensuring accuracy and timely completion while working independently and with the team.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to balance multiple tasks, including handling inquiries from customers and vendors and assisting with inventory for custom assemblies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is desired, not required.
• Experience in a customer service setting is a plus.
• Strong communication skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle pre-sales quotes and assist with order entry and vendor POs as needed.
• Review orders to ensure on-time product delivery.
• Resolve customer problems by clarifying complaints and providing solutions.
• Manage large volumes of emails and calls from customers and vendors.
• Identify customer needs to achieve satisfaction and trust.
• Assist in inventory tasks: pulling, counting, and organizing components.
• Follow procedures and policies; participate in special projects.
