Tykes & Teens is seeking a Customer Service Specialist II to provide essential front office support in the Outpatient Department. You will help create a positive experience for clients, families, referral sources, and visitors while ensuring accurate data management and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum one (1) year of guest relations, front office, or admissions experience.
• Minimum (2) years' experience working in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, families, referral sources, and visitors.
• Answer incoming calls and electronic communications professionally and promptly.
• Respond to written communications within established expectations.
• Assist walk-in clients and visitors by assessing needs and providing appropriate information or guidance.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm client appointments.
• Complete client registration and demographic updates. Support insurance verification processes and ensure required client information is obtained.
• Perform client check-in and check-out procedures.
• Collect co-pays, balances, and other required payments.
• Create, scan, upload, and maintain client records within the electronic health record (EHR).
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards.
• Enter and maintain grant and contract-required data into Carisk, SAMIS, and other required reporting systems.
