Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of full-time clerical, administrative, or social service support experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, organization, and computer skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work as part of a team.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and low-income families.
• Must pass required drug/alcohol testing and criminal history checks.

Responsibilities

• Determine eligibility for child care assistance.
• Process referrals, enrollments, authorizations, parent fees, and waitlist placements.
• Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and data entry in required systems, including TX3C.
• Communicate with parents, providers, CPS, Workforce staff, and community partners.
• Explain program requirements, forms, and parent responsibilities.
• Ensure confidentiality and provide respectful service to diverse families.
• Maintain knowledge of current eligibility, funding, and program guidelines.
• Refer suspected fraud or misuse of funds to the supervisor.
• Assist with receptionist coverage and other duties as assigned.
