Job summary

Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County Inc is seeking an Eligibility Specialist in Lancaster, PA. This full-time clerical position handles eligibility determinations for the subsidy program and conducts personal interviews with parents/caretakers to update demographic and eligibility information.

Responsibilities include case management, customer service to families and providers, and ensuring compliance with DHS policies. Strong organization and accurate record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma with 2 years of human services experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Determine eligibility and redetermination for subsidized childcare services.
• Maintain alerts and tracking in PELICAN CCW and enroll families into the program.
• Communicate with parents/caretakers and providers daily regarding eligibility and funding details.
• Maintain complete and accurate files and adhere to DHS policies and procedures.
