Job summary

All-Star-Veterinary-Clinic in Westfield, IN is seeking a Receptionist to join our client service team. We focus on balance, mentorship, and excellent compensation while delivering top-notch veterinary care in a small animal practice.

You will schedule appointments, manage records, handle invoices, dispense prescriptions, and use hospital systems to communicate with clients and teammates. Monday–Friday, no weekend emergencies, with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have veterinary terminology familiarity.
• Flexible schedule including some weekends/holidays.
• Experience with veterinary software preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route client calls to schedule appointments.
• Maintain client and pet records and referrals.
• Provide instructions, information, and invoices to clients.
• Dispense prescription items per veterinarian’s instructions and schedule follow-ups.
• Use hospital computer systems to document medical records and communicate with clients.
• Handle hospital cash and card transactions following procedures.
• Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism.
• Educate clients on preventative care and other services.
• Maintain a positive attitude with clients, pets, and teammates.
