Job summary

Unisys is seeking a disciplined leader to guide Field Engineering supervisors and teams across locations in Memphis and beyond. The role focuses on providing clear direction, addressing recurring issues, and ensuring end-to-end support during system releases and upgrades.

You will identify trends, resolve key problems, and coordinate procurement to meet client requirements while liaising between clients, end-users, and technical teams. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• 0-2 years’ leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Provide clear direction to Field Engineering supervisors and teams across multiple locations.
• Identify recurring trends and potential issues concurrent with system releases or upgrades.
• Ensure end-to-end support to address identified and potential issues.
• Resolve key issues raised by supervisors and teams; escalate complex cases.
• Monitor hardware, software and equipment availability to identify gaps and issues with business impact.
• Manage procurement-related activity to ensure on-time delivery and responsive client requirements.
• Act as liaison between clients, end-users and technical teams.
• Assist in determining appropriate processes, policies or procedures.
• Establish work processes and priorities; allocate people, budgets and resources.
