Job summary

Truist is seeking a customer-focused teammate in Southern Pines, NC to build client relationships through consultative conversations and referrals. You will handle teller transactions when needed and support branch sales goals by offering appropriate financial solutions.

The role requires strong communication skills, a high school diploma (or equivalent), and the ability to travel for temporary staffing and weekend shifts. Training on products and policies is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and may involve weekends/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry leading client service in person and by phone.
• Develop and expand client relationships and cross-sell products.
• Refer complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participate in sales routines and knowledge meetings.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Adhere to internal controls and policy changes; ensure compliance.
• Greet clients, conduct transactions, and assist with teller duties as needed.
