Truist is seeking a customer-focused professional in Lumberton, NC, to provide exceptional in-person and phone service, develop client relationships, and offer financial solutions aligned with client needs. The role includes occasional teller duties and cross-training to support branch goals.

Responsibilities include handling routine client requests, contributing to sales targets, and referring complex questions to specialists while maintaining compliance and courteous service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days (NMLS background check).
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs and occasional travel.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with possible overnights.

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and sales targets by offering products and services.
• Supports team sales process by referring complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in Truist Retail Community Bank routines.
• Advances sales knowledge through trainings and meetings.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Follows internal controls and risk management policies.
• Ensures a consistent client service experience during transactions.
