Job summary

Truist Bank in Wylie, Texas, is seeking a Regular full-time associate for 1st shift to deliver an industry-leading client service experience in person and by phone, developing new and existing client relationships and offering financial solutions through consultative conversations and referrals.

The position will be cross-trained to perform teller duties as needed and requires a high school diploma, 2 years of client sales and service experience, strong communication skills, and SAFE compliance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment in this role, including NMLS background checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Willingness to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and weekends/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and resolve routine client maintenance requests and sales functions.
• Contribute to meeting client service and sales targets by expanding and retaining relationships.
• Conduct consultative conversations and refer complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through trainings.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Engage clients with courteous service during teller transactions.
