Job summary

Truist is seeking a Regular Retail Banking Associate in Miami, FL to provide industry-leading client service in person and on the phone while expanding client relationships. Cross-training to teller duties is included, with responsibilities spanning sales, service and basic lending guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing new clients and building client relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• SAFE compliance within 30 days, including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing and locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Handle routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution, and advanced sales.
• Contribute to meeting or exceeding client service and sales targets by offering products and services to grow relationships.
• Support team sales process by consultative conversations and referrals to internal specialists.
• Participate in all components of Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
• Advance knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge via meetings and training.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk policies; stay informed of changes.
• Engage clients during transactions and greet them to ensure a consistent service experience.
