Role: Client Partner – Hi-Tech

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Client Partner to drive business growth and strengthen strategic relationships with clients across the Hi-Tech industry in the Bay Area.
This is a hunter-focused role, with approximately 70% of the position dedicated to new business development, client acquisition, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of selling technology services and solutions to Hi-Tech organizations and building relationships with senior decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new client acquisition and business development within the Bay Area Hi-Tech market.
- Spend approximately 70% of the role focused on hunting and developing new business opportunities.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new accounts and revenue opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with C-level and senior technology/business stakeholders.
- Develop and execute account strategies to grow revenue and market presence.
- Lead the sales cycle from prospecting and opportunity qualification through negotiation and closure.
- Understand client business challenges and position appropriate technology solutions and services.
- Collaborate with delivery, recruiting, pre-sales, and leadership teams to develop client solutions.
- Manage sales pipeline, forecasts, and business development activities.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Expand existing relationships where appropriate while maintaining a strong focus on new-logo acquisition.
- Stay current on Hi-Tech industry trends, client priorities, and competitive dynamics.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in Client Partner, Sales, Business Development, Account Executive, or similar leadership roles within technology services.
- Strong experience selling into the Hi-Tech industry.
- Established network and relationships within the Bay Area technology market.
- Demonstrated success in new-logo hunting and business development.
- Experience engaging with senior executives and decision-makers.
- Strong understanding of IT services, technology consulting, digital transformation, cloud, data, AI, or related technology solutions.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently develop a territory/account strategy and consistently build pipeline.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing relationships with Hi-Tech companies in the Bay Area.
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies such as AI/GenAI, Cloud, Data & Analytics, and Digital Engineering.
