Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Client Manager – Business Insurance to oversee a diverse book of business, coordinate marketing for proposals, and bind coverage while maintaining precise policy documents.

You will serve as the primary client contact, build strong relationships with clients and carriers, and provide risk-management recommendations. This role supports a hybrid work model across participating states.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years in customer service, underwriting, or commercial lines insurance preferred.
• Familiarity with insurance markets, binding authority, and underwriting guidelines preferred.
• Must be detailed with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and a high sense of urgency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
• Team-oriented with ability to build internal/external relationships.
• Strong analytical skills for quotations and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage client accounts and ensure timely service delivery.
• Coordinate marketing process, prepare proposals, bind coverage, and maintain policy documentation.
• Provide administrative support and assist clients with insurance needs.
• Oversee servicing of a diverse book of business and distribute requests appropriately.
• Gather submission information and align with client needs and agency capabilities.
• Prepare and present comprehensive insurance proposals and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Assist with marketing and placement of new and renewal business.
• Serve as primary contact for identified clients and respond promptly.
