Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller to be the first point of contact for clients at the San Rafael branch. You will process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and checks with accuracy and confidentiality while upholding Breakthrough Client Service Standards.

Under guidance from Branch leadership, you will deepen client relationships, identify needs, and refer appropriate banking products. The role emphasizes compliance, risk mitigation, and accurate cash handling in daily operations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of banking or customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Strong attention to detail with numbers and written instructions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Balance cash drawer and process daily cashier tasks.
• Handle deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and check cashing.
• Proactively identify opportunities to refer basic banking products to partners.
