Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller to serve as the first point of contact for clients at the Sweet Home branch. You will handle all teller transactions with precision and confidentiality while maintaining branch integrity and supporting service standards.

You will deepen product knowledge, engage clients to identify financial needs, and refer to the appropriate partners. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and strong customer service within a fully onsite environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies, procedures and systems.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Balance cash drawer and process deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and check cashing.
• Mitigate risk by safekeeping money in cash drawer and transferring funds promptly.
• Interact with clients to uncover needs and refer basic bank products to partners.
• Build relationships with clients and bank associates to support service standards.
