Job summary

Columbia Bank in Sweet Home, Oregon is hiring a Teller to be the first point of contact for clients and process banking transactions with accuracy and integrity. You will work under the Branch Manager to deliver Breakthrough Client Service Standards and deepen client relationships by identifying needs and offering suitable products and services.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and about 1 year of banking or customer service experience; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies, procedures and systems.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy in numbers and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Balance cash drawer and process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and payments.
• Mitigate risk and safeguard money in cash drawer and ATM operations.
• Engage clients to identify needs and offer suitable bank products and services.
