Job summary

Truist is seeking a client-focused banking associate in the Easley, SC area to deliver exceptional service in person and by phone. You will develop and expand client relationships while offering suitable financial solutions and referring to specialists as needed.

The role includes potential teller duties, meeting branch targets, and supporting the sales process through consultative conversations. A strong focus on customer experience and compliance is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs and occasional travel/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience and other product and service lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and sales targets by developing, expanding and retaining relationships.
• Supports team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring more complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in all components of the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through meetings and training.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies to ensure compliance.
• Engages clients with courteous conversation while conducting transactions and helps them navigate the branch.
