Truist Financial Corporation in North Charleston, SC is seeking a customer-focused Personal Banker to deliver industry-leading service in-branch and on the phone while expanding client relationships.

You will cross-sell banking solutions, handle teller duties as needed, and collaborate with specialists to help clients achieve financial goals while adhering to risk and policy requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• SAFE compliance within 30 days and passing NMLS background checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs.
• Weekend and/or extended hours with occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Handle advanced client maintenance requests and sales functions for deposits and credit.
• Contribute to meeting client service and sales targets by developing relationships.
• Refer complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participate in leadership routines within Truist Retail Community Bank.
• Pursue ongoing sales and product knowledge training.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Adhere to internal controls and policies; stay updated on procedures.
• Greet clients, conduct transactions, and uncover client needs.
