Unified Technology Solutions in Vero Beach, FL is seeking a customer-focused Business Technology Specialist to provide responsive IT support to our clients. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and application issues remotely and on-site, helping users stay productive and ensuring their technology operates reliably.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical fundamentals with excellent communication, documentation, organization, and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in information technology, computer science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience providing desktop, help-desk, or technical support is preferred.
• Must have driving license and travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Respond to support requests via telephone and email in a courteous, timely manner.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, application, connectivity, and peripheral issues.
• Provide remote and on-site support for Windows desktops, laptops, and printers.
• Deliver on-site service and transport equipment to client locations.
• Document service requests with issue details, actions, and resolutions.
• Prioritize requests based on urgency and business impact.
• Escalate complex issues when needed and use diagnostic tools to resolve problems.
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade software, hardware, OS, and business apps.
• Assist with network design to meet client needs and perform preventive maintenance.
• Keep clients informed and verify system performance after resolution.
