Job summary

Atlantic Federal Credit Union is seeking a customer-focused Account Manager I in Topsham, ME to build relationships and deliver insurance solutions that meet clients' evolving needs. You will partner with clients, carriers, and internal teams to provide outstanding support and contribute to growth.

You will manage a portfolio of accounts, handle policy servicing, renewals, and billing inquiries, and work with Producers to expand services.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Customer service, sales or client-facing experience preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software applications.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted contact for clients and carrier partners.
Assist with policy servicing, renewals, endorsements, certificates, billing inquiries, and claims support.
Review coverage and identify solutions that meet client needs.
Maintain accurate client records in agency management systems.
Ensure documents are processed accurately and efficiently.
Monitor renewal activity and support account retention.
Coordinate premium financing and collections when needed.
Support growth by lead follow-up and relationship-building with Producers.
