Job summary

The essential functions include building strong team relationships, ensuring policy accuracy, coordinating with underwriters, and handling renewals, invoices, and service requests. This is an on-site role across Maine offices.

Qualifications

• State P&C license required; 1–5 years' experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Designation(s) preferred, not required.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Self-motivated with professional demeanor.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; EPIC experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and client relationship skills.
• Positive, friendly and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Develop relationships with current and potential clients and liaise with underwriters.
• Serve as the contact between clients and United Insurance.
• Process mail, respond to requests (ID cards, binders, cancellations, reinstatements).
• Prepare applications, proposals, and renewals; forward to carriers.
• Collaborate on new business, renewals, and remarketing renewals.
• Maintain client activity records with detailed documentation in EPIC.
• Support invoicing and accounting processes; meet renewal deadlines.
