Job summary

The Atlantic Federal Credit Union seeks a Staff Member to provide personalized banking services to members and develop strong relationships. You will assess member needs, sell products, and manage extensive telephone interactions to ensure high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• At least two years in a financial institution with similar functions or relatable experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills (oral and written communications), active listening, positive attitude, deportment.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word; ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Build long-term financial relationships through consultative service culture and identify member needs.
• Assist with opening/closing deposit accounts, loan processing, account servicing, and maintenance.
• Perform teller functions: cash drawer balancing, deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers.
• Promote delivery channels to drive member engagement (online/mobile banking, branch, phone, ATM).
• Participate in outbound initiatives to develop new relationships and grow existing ones.
• Meet individual and branch goals; ensure timely responses and follow-ups for member requests.
