Job summary

United Insurance is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our Maine team. This role focuses on maintaining high levels of client service, renewing policies, and pursuing new business opportunities within our Maine office network.

The successful candidate will hold a State P&C license (or be in process) with 1–5 years of experience, be proficient in EPIC and Microsoft Office, and possess strong communication and relationship skills.

Qualifications

• State P&C license required, with 1–5 years’ experience preferred.
• High School diploma/equivalent required.
• Designation(s) preferred, not required.
• Ability to multitask.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Prior experience with EPIC preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer relationship skills.
• Positive, friendly, and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Adhere to policies and procedures for workflow and documentation.
• Develop relationships with current and potential clients and coordinate with underwriters.
• Serve as the point of contact between clients and United.
• Process inquiries for IDs, binders, BORs, cancellations and reinstatements.
• Prepare applications, renewals, and proposals.
• Provide consultative servicing and determine solutions based on knowledge and client interactions.
• Maintain detailed client activity in EPIC and follow up as needed.
• Collaborate with Producers on new business, renewals, and remarketing.
• Order updated loss runs and coordinate with the Accounting Department.
