Job summary

Truliant Federal Credit Union is seeking an Account Manager I to support personal insurance accounts, coordinate with clients, carriers, and Insurance Agents, and provide timely policy service and guidance throughout coverage lifecycles.

The role emphasizes strong client service, accuracy, organization, and the ability to balance multiple requests in a dynamic environment. Prior insurance experience and licensing are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of insurance customer service experience or equivalent financial services experience.
• NC Property & Casualty license required or must pass exam within six weeks of pre-licensing program.
• Clear verbal and written communication with clients, carriers, and internal partners.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management to track items and meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage policy service requests from intake through completion (binders, endorsements, coverage changes, cancellations, premium follow-up, information requests).
• Inform clients, carriers and agency partners through timely correspondence and complete documentation of conversations and policy activity.
• Identify potential coverage needs, increased limits, referrals, and cross-sell opportunities; connect clients with an Insurance Agent for guidance.
• Maintain knowledge of rating products and agency processes; participate in training and development; assist with improvement projects.
