Job summary

Truist invites applications for a Regular Customer Service role focused on delivering superior client experiences across transactions and relationship-building. You will guide clients through digital tools, support sales via outbound calls, and collaborate with branch teams to meet consumer and business needs.

This role emphasizes adherence to internal controls, ongoing training, and flexible scheduling including weekends and extended hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years teller, cash handling, or client service experience.
• Six months client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs; may include locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure consistent service level by engaging clients, handling transactions, and uncovering needs.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions (ATMs, Online and Mobile banking).
• Support sales by outbound client outreach, checking offers, and identifying needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance product knowledge through training and meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies; stay updated on changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution; handle workload based on branch demands.
• One year of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management and loss prevention.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• General understanding of bank operations, policies and procedures.
