Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Universal Banker in the United States. The role centers on delivering a distinctive client experience, handling transactions, and guiding clients to digital banking options while uncovering financial needs.

You will support sales through outbound outreach, participate in Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities, and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required, including temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation, and performing complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales process by participating in client outreach through outbound calls and identifying client needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in all components of the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance knowledge through meetings and training to better serve clients.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies for compliance.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering products and services.
