ConnectOne Bank in Holmdel, NJ is seeking a Banking Relationship Specialist to acquire, retain, and expand banking relationships for business and consumer clients. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional client service within our “Client First” culture, while upholding compliance and security standards.

Responsibilities include greeting clients, cross-selling products, opening accounts, handling transactions, and supporting branch operations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years bank platform sales and teller experience.
• Strong needs-based sales skills.
• Detailed understanding of federal banking compliance and requirements.
• Strong “People First” mindset and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess and meet customer needs.
• Effective teambuilding and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients, maintain professional demeanor, and support branch team to meet ConnectOne standards.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and educate clients on bank products in a consultative manner.
• Open deposit accounts and educate clients on our offerings.
• Ensure all activities comply with bank procedures and security controls.
• Resolve customer issues by researching, owning, and following up until resolution.
• Assist with teller functions and branch operations as needed.
• Support branch sales objectives and participate in community events.
