ConnectOne Bank is seeking a Banking Relationship Specialist to acquire, retain, and expand business and consumer banking relationships. You’ll uphold the ConnectOne culture, greet clients by name, and drive service excellence within the branch team.

Key responsibilities include cross-selling products, opening accounts, educating clients on services, and ensuring compliance. A flexible schedule supports branch goals in a dynamic community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Strong needs-based sales skills.
• One to three years bank platform sales and teller experience.
• Detailed understanding of federal banking compliance and requirements.

• Strong ability in assessing and meeting customer needs.
• Effective teambuilding and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Ability to lift items up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support the Bank’s “People First” focus and rules of engagement—greet clients by name and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Cross-sell the Bank’s products and services in a consultative manner.
• Perform account opening for deposit products and educate clients on offerings.
• Ensure all activities comply with security and control procedures.
• Handle customer service issues by researching and following up until resolution.
• Assist branch team with transactions and operations as needed.
