ConnectOne Bank seeks a Banking Relationship Specialist to build and deepen client relationships for business and consumer accounts, while championing the Client First culture. You will cross-sell, handle deposits, educate customers on products, ensure compliance, and support branch team goals.

This on-site role requires a friendly, proactive communicator who can lift up to 25 lbs and operate within a fast-paced retail banking environment.

Qualifications

• Strong needs-based sales skills.
• 1–3 years bank platform sales and teller experience.
• Detailed understanding of federal banking compliance and requirements.
• Strong 'People First' attitude and ability.
• Ability to assess and meet customer needs.
• Effective teambuilding and interpersonal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and uphold ConnectOne Bank standards within the branch team.
• Cross-sell bank products and services in a consultative manner.
• Open deposits and educate customers on bank offerings.
• Maintain compliance with operational, security, and control procedures.
• Resolve customer service issues with research and follow-up.
• Assist other branch staff with transactions and operations as needed.
• Provide back-up support to Client Service Manager or Service Relationship Manager.
