Job summary

ConnectOne Bank in New York is seeking a Banking Relationship Specialist to acquire, retain, and expand business and consumer banking relationships while delivering our Client First service.

You will cross-sell products, open deposit accounts, ensure compliance, and support branch operations. A strong needs-based sales mindset and 1–3 years of banking experience are preferred; flexible scheduling and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong needs-based sales skills.
• One to three years bank platform sales and teller experience.
• Detailed understanding of federal banking compliance and requirements.
• Strong 'People First' emphasis and ability to meet customer needs.
• Effective teambuilding and interpersonal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support branch sales objectives and deliver ConnectOne standards.
• Cross-sell Bank products and services in a consultative manner.
• Perform account openings and educate clients on offerings.
• Ensure compliance with operational, security and control procedures.
• Handle customer service issues and follow up until resolution.
• Assist with teller functions and branch operations as needed.
• Provide feedback to improve team performance and service levels.
