ConnectOne Bank is seeking a Banking Relationship Specialist to strengthen client relationships and drive growth while upholding the ConnectOne culture of service excellence.

You will open deposit accounts, educate clients on products, and support branch operations. The role emphasizes needs-based selling, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with the branch team to meet sales objectives.

Competenze

• Minimum 1–3 years bank platform sales and teller experience.
• Strong needs-based sales skills with client focus.
• Detailed understanding of federal banking compliance and requirements.
• Strong 'People First' attitude and ability to engage customers.
• Ability to assess customer needs and solve problems while maintaining professionalism.
• Effective teambuilding and interpersonal communication abilities.

Mansioni

• Support the Bank’s 'People First' culture and engagement rules, greeting clients by name and maintaining a professional branch environment.
• Cross-sell the Bank’s products and services in a consultative manner to grow relationships.
• Perform account opening for deposits and educate clients on offerings.
• Ensure all activities comply with operational, security and control procedures.
• Handle customer service issues, research, own, and follow up daily until resolution.
• Assist branch team with transactions and operations, provide coaching to improve performance.
• Perform service transactions including check orders, address changes, wires, and client communications.
• Serve as back-up to Branch Manager for operational and service-related functions.
• Assist Teller duties and branch opening/closing as needed.
