Job summary

Cognex Corporation in Baltimore seeks a Project Manager with external customer-facing experience who will flourish in our "Work Hard, Play Hard, Move Fast" culture. The PM will coordinate resources on Cognex-designed solutions, involving pre-sales engagement to assess risks and deliver cutting-edge technology that meets quality, delivery, and service expectations.

You will manage scope, schedules, and documentation, maintain relationships with customers, and ensure successful project outcomes

Qualifications

PM processes and PMI standards knowledge.
Strong written and verbal communication with customer relationship skills.
Industry automation knowledge including design for manufacturability.
Ability to influence stakeholders with facts and fast action.
Experience planning and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of project-finance basics and profitability analysis.

Responsibilities

Actively plan, organize, and align internal and external resources to meet the project schedule.
Maintain and develop relationships with customers pre- and post-sale.
Develop project schedules and track milestones while communicating status to stakeholders.
Define scope changes and ensure customer acceptance with all providers.
Manage all project documentation and handoff to service or customers.
