Job summary

Cognex Corporation is seeking a Project Manager with external customer-facing experience to drive projects from pre-sales through delivery. You will coordinate internal and external resources, manage scope, and maintain strong customer relationships to meet quality, delivery, and profitability targets.

Ideal candidates have PMI-based experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and are comfortable traveling up to 50% and working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Qualifications

• BA degree in a technical discipline or relevant equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years' experience as a project manager within the high-tech service industry or related field.
• Ability to be on-call and travel 20–50% of the time.
• English language proficiency required; PMP/CSCP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively plan, organize, and align internal and external resources to execute the project schedule.
• Maintain and develop relationships with customers pre- and post-sale.
• Develop project schedules and track progress against milestones and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Identify scope and communicate changes to key stakeholders to ensure completion and acceptance.
• Manage all project documentation through the lifecycle and hand off to service teams or customers.
